Image preparationFlatten Photoshop layers before exporting. Avoid enlarging a small image to fill the EDDM postcard.
Crop marks & bordersKeep crop marks outside the artwork. Printed borders need at least ⅛″ inside trim, plus bleed.
Mailing itBundle in stacks of 50 to 100 with a USPS facing slip on each, fill in PS Form 3587 and pay postage at the post office of the routes you chose. Ask us if you want them banded in 100s. Shipping to you is quoted separately.

What is EDDM?
Every Door Direct Mail is a USPS program. You pick carrier routes by ZIP code and the post office delivers a card to every address on them. No mailing list, no names, no addresses.
Which size should I pick?
6.5" x 9" is the classic EDDM card and the cheapest to print. 6.5" x 11" gives a longer panel; 8.5" x 11" is a full sheet that owns the mailbox. All three meet the USPS EDDM size rules.
How does the mailing part work?
We print them; you mail them. Bundle in stacks of 50 to 100 with a USPS facing slip on each, fill in PS Form 3587, and pay postage at the post office serving the routes you chose. USPS charges per piece; the current EDDM Retail rate is on usps.com. Want them banded in 100s before they ship? Ask and we quote it.
What has to be on the card for USPS?
The back carries the EDDM indicia box in the top right and the words "Local Postal Customer" in the address area. Keep the right 3.5" of the back clear for it; we check this on the proof.
How long until I have them?
Two to three business days on press once your proof is approved, plus shipping to you, which is quoted separately.
Will I see a proof before it prints?
Yes. Every order gets an online PDF proof by email for content and positioning. A printed hard-copy proof is available on request. Nothing goes to press until you approve, and production time starts from your approval.
What if my file is not print-ready?
Send what you have. We set it up to the guidelines above, including the mail panel, and show you the proof before anything prints.
