WHERE WE HAVE THE EDGE
Beautiful cards, without the tax.
Moo built its name on paper, and it earned it. The question is what you are paying for that name once you need a thousand cards rather than fifty.
01
The same 16pt card, at a fraction of the price.
A thousand Original 16pt cards were $263 at Moo on 12 September 2026, with a 25% discount already applied. The same count on 16pt here is $55, shipping included. Nothing about that gap is a paper difference.
02
Delivery is inside the price on business cards.
Our 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 card prices are landed, so the page price is the price you pay. Add delivery to a Moo order and the gap gets wider, not narrower.
03
Every finish priced on the page.
Seven finishes on the same standard card, each with its own price at every quantity, each photographed as the real printed thing rather than rendered.
04
A person looks at your file before a press runs.
The size, the bleed and the resolution are checked in your browser as you upload, and then a person looks at the file. If something needs fixing we come back to you instead of printing it.
05
Design by the same people who print it.
Print product design is $97 and logo design is $250, scope agreed up front, artwork set up for the product and finish you chose.
Where Moo wins
Moo is very good at things that are not price.
Paper. Their Luxe card is a genuinely distinctive object and there is nothing dishonest about charging for it.
Small packs. Fifty cards, printed well, is a real product and we do not sell it.
Finish range. Spot gloss, letterpress, foil and a design studio built for people who care about type.
Reputation with designers, which is earned rather than advertised.
Some projects start with a finished logo. Others start with a rough sketch and a feeling. Either one has a place here.
Tell us about your business, what you are making and the look you have in mind. We agree the scope and the revision rounds up front, then make artwork built for the product you picked, set up correctly for its finish. You do not need to arrive with every detail figured out.
Matte meets a little spotlight.A softer edge. A strong first impression.Your colors, doing the talking.
02
Make an impression. Then make it tactile.
A business card is a tiny piece of your business that someone gets to keep. The paper, the shape and the finish all decide how it feels in the hand.
Seven finishes on the same standard card: gloss, matte, rounded corners, spot UV on both sides, soft touch, 32pt ultra thick and a painted edge. Spot UV on both sides is $80 for a thousand here. Moo’s spot gloss is $565.
The card starts the conversation. Your website, your presentation and your everyday graphics keep it going. Bring the next one to the same people.
Alongside print we do logos, custom graphic design, websites and workflow automations. The second job does not start with explaining your brand to a stranger, because the same team already printed the first.
Choose around the order you actually have, not a row of checkmarks.
♥
I Love Brandable could be your kind of thing.
You want a thousand good cards without paying a premium brand’s premium, you want the finish photographed and priced before you commit, and you want the same team for the logo, the website and the next print job.
You want a four-layer Luxe, a cotton or letterpress card, or foil, and the budget is not the constraint. You need 50 cards rather than a thousand. Or you want to design it in their template studio. Those are lovely objects and real advantages, and we do not make them.
We cannot speak for how Moo prices and we would not guess at their costs. What we can say is what each of us sells: the same 16pt weight, printed both sides, a thousand cards, was $263 there with their discount applied and $55 here on the day we looked. Check both before you decide.
Is Moo’s card actually better?+
At the top of their range, yes. Luxe is four layers of Mohawk Superfine with a colored seam through the middle, and it is a lovely object we do not make. Our 32pt ultra thick is the nearest thing, at $263 for a thousand against their $435. On the standard 16pt card the stock is the same weight.
Why can’t I order 50 cards from you?+
Our card prices come from press runs that start at a thousand, which is what makes a thousand cards cost fifty five dollars. Below that the setup dominates the price. If you need fifty, Moo sells fifty.
Who actually looks at my file?+
A person, before anything prints. When you upload artwork on a product page it is checked on the spot for size, bleed and resolution, and then you get a PDF proof by email. Nothing goes to press until you approve it.
Are these prices still current?+
They were read from Moo’s own website on 12 September 2026, when a 25 per cent discount was showing. Print prices and promotions change often, so check before you decide, and tell us if you find a number here that has moved.
Do you price match?+
No. We would rather be honest about where someone else is the better buy, which is why this page says so plainly.
